Getting there
The day
What time should I arrive?
Please be seated in the Walled Garden by 2:45 pm. The ceremony starts at three sharp, and the garden gate closes once it begins.
Guests
Can I bring a plus one?
If your invitation names a guest or says “and guest”, yes. If you are unsure, write to us — we would rather you ask.
Guests
Are children welcome?
We are keeping the day grown-ups only, apart from the children in the wedding party. Mill Street Lodge can recommend local sitters.
The day
Is the ceremony outdoors?
Yes, in the Walled Garden, on grass. If the forecast turns, we move into the Glasshouse and nobody gets wet.
The day
What should I wear?
Garden formal: summer suits, long dresses, comfortable shoes. Please avoid white and ivory. Our colours are on the schedule page if you would like to match.
The day
Can I take photos?
The ceremony is unplugged — phones away, please. From the drinks onwards, take as many as you like and tag them #ElenaAndTheo.
Getting there
Is there parking?
Yes, free, on the gravel drive. If you plan to drink, use the shuttle — it runs from The Larchfield Inn and back until midnight.
Guests
I have dietary needs. What do I do?
Tell us on the RSVP form. The kitchen can handle most things with notice, and every course has a vegetarian option.
